In 2017, Lead Designer and Owner, Melissa Whitlock, created and founded Bloom Family Designs, a nonprofit organization with a mission to create beautifully designed rooms for foster + adopted children, at NO COST to the families.
As the leader of this innovative and heart-led organization, Melissa was able to gather a community of creatives, designers, and businesses to gift over 140 ROOMS to foster and adopted children all across the nation!
Throughout this journey, Melissa developed a love and skillset in not only designing children's spaces, but ultimately a passion for helping every child in our community find their beautiful place of belonging.
Although, Melissa is no longer leading Bloom Family Designs full time, her heart will always be the same and Bloom Interiors will continue to serve children in foster care to the best of their ability. A percentage of all of our services goes back to wrapping around foster families in our community and improving the outcomes and experiences of children in foster care and we hope to encourage others to do the same.
Alone we can do little, but TOGETHER we can impact foster and adopted children in a beautiful way!
